Frågan kom en dag från en yngre generation av gitarrister - Vad är en Western? Westerngitarr  alltså  - en D-modell  ( Dreadnought )  Western , Country & Western- en tid på 1950 talet då det spelades Country & Western, en tid då den moderna countrymusiken slog igenom stort. 20 år senare återkom gitarr modellen D -style  på modet nu på 70 - talet med country rock och band som Eagles m.fl. Här och nu på 2020 talet har Western fått en revival,med Beyoncè och med  musik stilen  Americana.. Tiden där emellan...
